expands charter, welcomes Friends

FITCHBURG, MASSACHUSETTS, April 6, 2006 … Barbara E. Goodwin, president and CEO of Fitchburg ME Federal Credit Union, announced today that the Credit Union’s field of membership has been expanded to include members of the Friends of Fitchburg Public Library and the Friends of Coggshall Park and their family members.

Until the recent change, membership was available only to employees and retirees of the City of Fitchburg, Fitchburg State College, Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg Housing Authority, LUK, Inc., and their family members, and also students of Fitchburg Public Schools and their family members.

Family members include spouses, children, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents and grandchildren. Also, stepparents, stepchildren, stepbrothers, stepsisters, family members by adoptive relationships, domestic partners, legal guardians, and foster children.
